These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Trade Database website and the trade data products and reports we provide ("Services"). By using the website or purchasing any dataset, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About us

Trade Database ("we", "us", "our") provides Bill of Lading, customs, and trade statistics datasets and custom trade reports compiled from shipping manifests, customs records and other trade sources. You can reach us at query@tradedatabase.net or at Behind Old Etisalat, Darat Ul Miah, Khalidiya, Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

2. Definitions

• "Data" means any dataset, database, sample, report or file we supply.
• "You" means the individual or organisation accessing the Services or placing an order.
• "Order" means a request to purchase Data submitted through the website, email or another agreed channel.

3. Licence and permitted use

On full payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased Data for your own lawful internal business purposes — such as market research, lead generation, competitor analysis, logistics planning and due diligence.

4. Restrictions

Unless we agree in writing, you must not:

• resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or otherwise make the Data available to third parties as a standalone product;
• use the Data for any unlawful, deceptive or harmful purpose, or in breach of any applicable trade, sanctions, anti-spam or data-protection law;
• send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law; or
• remove or obscure any notices, or represent the Data as your own original database.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown on the website and may change at any time. An Order is confirmed only after we verify your payment. All prices are exclusive of any taxes or bank charges unless stated otherwise. We may decline or cancel any Order at our discretion.

6. Delivery

Data is delivered electronically (by email or secure download link) or, on request, by courier on physical media, after payment confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

7. Samples, refunds and returns

Free samples are available so you can evaluate the Data before purchase. Because the Data is a digital product delivered in full, all sales are final and Data is non-refundable once delivered, except where required by applicable law or where we fail to deliver the Data you paid for. If you believe an Order was not delivered correctly, contact us within 14 days.

8. Accuracy and disclaimer of warranties

The Data is compiled from third-party trade, shipping and customs sources and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that the Data is complete, accurate, current or fit for any particular purpose, and you are responsible for verifying it before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the Services or the Data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Order.

10. Intellectual property

The website, its content and the compiled databases are protected by intellectual-property rights owned by or licensed to Trade Database. Your licence to use purchased Data does not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights.

11. Compliance

You are responsible for using the Data in compliance with all laws that apply to you, including data-protection, marketing, competition, export-control and sanctions laws.

12. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licence restrictions, disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
